Ding Fung Tai /Ding Tai Fung

It may cause you an hour to wait for a seat, or few minutes.

Since there is no reservation, people have to take the ticket and wait for the number called.  Usually takes 30~60mins, but it's better to stay and wait because, sometimes the waitress will come out and ask if you mind sharing the table with someone else, if you answer her first, you can get the tabe whatever what no. you are.

As a result, we didn't spend much time on waiting.

Since it is directly manage by the Taiwan main office, most of the staffs are from Taiwan and they are very nice.

The famous “hai fan siu long bao” is good, but not fabulous.  Similar to “Fei Tsui” only.

The beef noodle is good also, but not impressive.

Red bean glutinous rice tamale is good, but I like that one from “Gig G Ho”, with preserved petals of sweet osmanthus better.

We also have marinated cow stomach, which is too salty, and dry noodle with green onion, which smell good but taste just ok.

Steamed mushroom bun, not much feeling but someone said the bun is quite fresh made.

Today's lunch - Thai style green curry fish, lucky today, the curry taste a bit like “ton yum kong”, a bit sour and spicy, I'm lucky today.

The Hash browns from mcdonald tasted awful, I never hate Hash browns but only this time.  That was from the branch near wan chai computer center.

2 more days to go.

■ 5th

Today's setup time is 900, half hour later than yesterday, but I woke up twice (!)at 700, and I thought I can sleep till 730 and leave home 830 and still have time for breakfast, it should be 800 and I think my mind was confused…

I got a banana walnut muffin with coffee yesterday, today I really want a mc breakfast, but it's terrible in wanchai during the show time.  The long queue keep me out of mcdonalds'… I was late and have to find something else to eat (actually I've had my cereal at home), but I really eager for tasty food these days…

Maybe the beverage in the HKCEC is really… below standard.  There are several types of lunch box including chinese, western style, vegeterian meal…etc, also there are salad, cakes, sandwiches.  Usually foreigners choose sandwiches or salad only.

Vegetables are boiled only, so the sauce is important. I've had fishes in both day 1 and day 2 , fried fish with cream sauce / tomato sauce flounder, these 2 are not bad, only the taste was too light.  I could finish the whole box. My colleague's soybean sauce pork with vegetables looks ok, but taste awful, even my boss complained the taste too.

I wish tomorrow I will be lucky again. (Tomorrow's menu seems danger… )

The French customer saw me and said “mo mun tai?”, I don't understand what she asked for, don't know what should be the answer, and she said that was joke…. I still can't find where did the “joke” go.

The company really did a good job! Many fans are still waiting for the tickets and wondering by when will they arrived.

Today is the 1st fair day, there was a mini parade this morning. The models are really…getting worser.  They are blonde, not pretty at all, and one of them, who's the worst one, I guess no one will imagine a model with that figure - eye catching stomach, small breast, lazy posture… luckily she's not our model.

Actually I spend most of time on waiting the closing time, but still make me tired and very sleepy.

It's really a long long way from MTR to the booth…

■ 4th

I really hope that I can enjoy a tasty western breakfast every morning, even mcdonalds' can please me.

Due to lacking of time and $$, I can have cereal only…

This morning, I felt empty again, and I desired to have a cup noodle since there were 5 mins spare… but I didn't.

So, the first thing come to my mind when I'm in my seat is, food, as usual.

Maybe, insufficient rest cause me to retrieve energy from other way.

I really want to try the fried chicken, mochi, dorayaki, marinated food….in Taiwan, looks so delicious!

I don't hate the show, if I could stay in the office alone, but the fate is I can't escape this time.. I have to wake up an hour earlier than normal!

■ 3rd

I can't believe that I (have to) wake up at 5am on SUNDAY, but it's true…

I sat on bed with NDS and hours later gave up sleeping, thought that I can take a nap at noon time. finally I didn't.

On today's national geographic channel, there's a program “Is it real?”, the “it” in this episode is GHOST.

Amityville

When I switch to this program, it's telling the “story”, actually should be a case of murder. 

The Amityville, one of the most haunted house in the world.  There was a family of six died on their beds, face down, shooted.

The son was prisoned, and somebody said he was affected by the spirit… etc. And Psychics visited the house and felt “something”…

I didn't have a complete watch of this part, don't know how they investigate in a scientific way..

Luncaster Castle 

It's a beautiful castle in England.  There's housekeeper in the day time ONLY.

There are 4 volunteers willing to stay a night there. 2 of them between believing and suspicion, the other 2 don't believe in ghost.

After hearing the “characters” in the castle - woman walking in graves, crying girl, a starring earl… the first 2 leave because of “business suddenly”, the 2 which don't believe in ghost starting

their night. 

The woman decided to stay in crying girl's room, only stayed for 3minutes and she could bare to stay alone because of feeling “sight”.

The man went to find the white lady outside, and was scared by the pit-a-pat sound of doors.

Finally they stay together in the girl's room.  The specialist interviewed them and make the following conclusions:

The story they heard before staying there.

The paintings everywhere can make people feel like being stared by someone.

Medieval beds were made from iron, which affect the magnetic field, leads to illusion produce by brain activities.

White birds, owls among the trees can make “horrible” sound and vision.

Hanging men in the store room, having fun after the bar closed, “attack” customer…etc.

The attack case was been a newspaper headline,  a customer sue the bar for being hit by ghost in toilet…

After that, there's a warning outside the bar to remind the customers to enter the bar at their own risk.

A specialist heard the stories and examine the scene:

The carbon monoxide of the store room is too high that will bring dizzy, breathless feeling to human, a condition which easily has vision.

Anyway, there are scientific way to explain /bring the unnatural, and not.

■ 2nd

I almost want to skip today's, as I'm busy on a new game … ok, make it short.

Today I've tried the macaroon from Le Gouter Bernardaud (LGB), which is expensive but worthy, as the comments said.

HK$15 of a small piece, smaller than Antique's, but more flavour.  Rose & chocolat amer was my choice. 

The color of 'rose' is lovely pink, a little bit cold, crunchy surface but creamy inside, the taste is ok, not too sweet, but my favorite taste of rose is absent…really bad.

The other flavor, with chocolat inside, quite good.

Compare with Antique's, I like the texture of that better.

Actually… I'm lazy, but, I think I should do something…

If everything goes smooth, we can put an end to the mess, and I'm going to work for a French customer.

Restart.

I'm not sure if I can handle and fulfill the job, I wish I can.

I'm not sure if it could really bring me that much benefit, to my future, as my boss said, a chance to get higher, to know enlarge my network, to get closer to the rich…

Talkative men always are braggart.

Anyway, I still think it's an opportunity to improve myself, at least english, and I wish I could talk in French…. just dreaming.  I guess I have no time to pick up the French again.

I'm glad to this ending, coz no need to worry about resignation, but it comes to the same result, or maybe a better one.

But some of the new designs couldn't be completed… a small regret

I'm wondering should I buy an english novel or something and force myself to read, maybe I will finish the book because it's expensive…

Or try something cheap… update this blog everyday in English….  I guess it should be boring… but english or french is charming language, the day when edison was holding a press conference, I concentrated on his fluent words, his tone, his accent… coz cantonese is really not harmony.

p.s. I heard siu mei (from the star group) speak in F R E N C H! He's charming at that moment. (He is studying french in university, so good…)

I guess no one wiling to read this long and meaningless english post, so I guess I can make it much more meaningless…

… the movie “Teeth” seems so interesting, but I guess I won't have a chance to watch it
